Wuala: Another Cloud Storage Service

I recently was introduced to Wuala which is another cloud storage service. The free storage starts of with 1GB with the ability to expand up to 3GB if you have friends sign up for the service. Much like Dropbox you need a client to use it. The client creates a networked drive on whatever platform you are using (I use windows at work and Linux at home so this is a nifty feature that I can take advantage of). With the networked drive it’s easy to access your files however you cannot upload to the root folder you have to upload into Documents, Music, Photos, or Videos only. You can create new folders if you wish for files that don’t quite fit into that generalized category.

Do You Ubuntu? How about a Derivative?

Ubuntu is a fork of Debian Linux as we all know, however from this fork we see many derivatives. Some of you may not like the default Gnome desktop or feel the basic install is missing something. Here’s a list of 21 derivatives of Ubuntu that you may or may not know about.

Living without Windows. And it is not Dark!

I have bit the bullet and removed the operating system known as Windows from my laptop fully. I am back up and running to where I was before when I was dual booting more or less.
